People's Choice for Best Art Display
Brent Freed
Brent uses nature's leftovers to create beautiful works of art. His hand-turned driftwood duck sculptures are made from red and white cedar. Unique, handcrafted furniture and home accents are inspired by the natural beauty of the Northern Michigan countryside where he lives. He has been the premier canoe furniture builder in Michigan for nine years. All pieces are made from white cedar. Visit his gallery of "wood art" at www.indianriverwoodshop.com.
Fine art has been a part of the Easter Decoy Show for many years. The show has expanded in recent years to include sculptures, jewelry made of sea glass and stone, mosaic tiles, hand-woven baskets, model boats, photography, and other handmade items. The list of "artists" is quite extensive and varied--limited only by the imagination.
